The talented team over at the Belgrade’s workshop have made great progress on building the set.
These pictures show you how the crowd images will look on the tall structures and give you an idea just how big they will be!
This is a blog about a new play called We Love You City, which has been written by Nick Walker, directed by Paul Warwick and co-produced by The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and Talking Birds Theatre Company.
The show originally ran at the Belgrade in Autumn 2010 and returns to the theatre for a second run from 8 May 2012.
We Love You City sees eleven players take centre stage to recreate the events of the 1987 FA Cup Final and tell the funny, edgy, moving, and sometimes farcical stories that were playing out in Coventry during those nail-biting 90 minutes - plus a bit of extra time!
