Bring On The Super Sub
So they always say that the rehearsals mirror the play itself, and We Love You City is no exception.
Our right back, the very excellent Mark Worth got a nasty knock and displaced a clavicle (a technical term for a bit of the shoulder - we all got a bit queasy at the details at this point). It put him out of the show, a big disappointment for us and him.
It all felt a bit like we’d gone one nil down, just like the mighty Cov team in 87. However, inspired by their fighting spirit, we brought Ged off the bench and he slipped into defense seamlessly, a bit of reworking and he’s making the position his own. Rehearsals continue apace.
