Composer, sound director and one third of Talking Birds, Derek Nisbet talks about the music and sound for We Love You City, which includes snippets of John Motson’s original match commentary and audio provided by the the Salvation Army brass band.

Coventry City’s goalkeeping legend Steve Ogrizovic visited the Belgrade to show his support for We Love You City, and to pick the winners of a special competition. As goalkeeper for Coventry in the 1987 FA Cup Final, Steve Ogrizovic played an integral role in the team’s victory against Tottenham Hotspur. He said, “Winning the FA Cup was a great moment, not only for me and the team, but for everybody in Coventry. Seeing the excitement and the pride on the faces of everybody that came out to celebrate with us made it all the more special.“We Love You City is a great way for those that were there to relive the atmosphere and emotion of that day and for those that weren’t there to get a glimpse of what it was like.” Steve’s 16 year tenure at Coventry City FC has earned him legendary status among fans and the record for the most appearances as a player in all competitions. After retiring from playing duties in 2000, Ogrizovic stayed on at the club in a coaching capacity where today he is goalkeeping coach to the Sky Blue’s up and coming and established goalkeepers.
